Alicante Futura - The Digital Future of Alicante

The Alicante City Council has launched Alicante Futura, a major strategic initiative aimed at transforming the city into a leading technological and innovation hub in the Mediterranean.

Key Areas of Focus:

Territorios Futura – a network of innovation zones and the modernization of urban infrastructure.

Ágora Futura – the flagship digital innovation center, to be built on the site of a former slaughterhouse (investment: €9.25 million).

Support for startups and talent through programs like:

AF Emprende – incubation for tech startups.

Keep Talent – development and retention of young IT professionals.

Training courses in AI, programming, digital marketing, and more.

Expansion of the Vivero de Empresas Príncipe Felipe business incubator.

To build a sustainable, digital, and inclusive economy by attracting investment, nurturing talent, and strengthening Alicante’s global competitiveness.
